Happy Mother’s Day!

Happy Mother’s Day, ladies! Including me this year!

I have been really anxious to share our news, and it was pretty cool that Mother’s Day ended up coinciding with the first day of our 2nd trimester. We had to take our photo a little early, since Andrew was getting ready to leave for Iceland. So just Baby & me celebrating my first Mother’s Day.

I got a few cards and gifts though, so that was exciting! Andrew’s parents sent a book of baby crochet patterns, and my grandma sent a funny onesie. It still seems a little crazy that I’m a mommy-to-be!

This is one of the most recent photos I have with my mom, and it’s already about 7 months old! 😦 It’s from my sister’s wedding in October, which was the last time I was in the States. I really love living in England, but knowing that we’ll (most likely) be moving back to the States in less than a year is a little comforting. Especially with becoming a family of 3. I just couldn’t imagine my little one hardly ever getting to see his/her grandparents. I know my mom (and Andrew’s mom!) are super excited for this baby, and I’m happy they won’t have to take a 9 hour flight to see all of us. 🙂
