Week 10: Baby is the size of a kumquat walnut!
How far along: 10 weeks
Gender: no idea… but I feel like maybe a girl
Weight gain: not quite sure… according to my scale, I’ve lost weight
Symptoms: still some nausea, a couple of days of vomiting, still tired, still have a sore lower back, and still sore boobs

Maternity clothes: not yet
Stretch marks: No
Belly button in or out: in
Sleep: totally fine..except for my middle-of-the-night potty trips
Best moment this week: Our first ultrasound! We got to see Baby moving, and we saw the heartbeat (173 bpm). So amazing! Baby Kiel measured 3.8cm long, so our due date got bumped up by a day: 16 Nov 2014 is our new due date!
Miss anything: not really
Movement: not yet
Cravings: nothing really… but I’ve discovered I can’t STAND the smell of coffee
Looking forward to: Announcing our baby news on Facebook in a couple of weeks 🙂

Look at our sweet baby! He or she was facing us for the ultrasound, so we had to try to move him/her to get a profile shot to properly measure the length. The doctor told me to just try to massage my lower belly, and it actually worked. I’m not sure why I was surprised… I just didn’t think the baby moved much at this point! I could have just watched our baby on the screen forever, it was such a wonderful experience. My other big plan for the day (after our appointment) was to send some belated Easter messages to our extended family and close friends:

That is a high heartbeat..probably a girl!! 😉 Also, I am totally loving the white board thing you’re doing. How are you so good at it and can you move in with me so you can be creative for my next pregnancy?! K? thanks!!! 😛 ❤

It takes me awhile to finish a white board, haha… I’m really nit-picky about it! And I usually find a font I like, type up what I want to write then try to copy it the best I can. We’ll see if I can keep them looking good! 🙂 And you can always rope Becki into doing blackboard versions for you, Kelsi… she’ll probably be living closer! 😉
