Type A Planning

I’ve had my heart set on visiting Cornwall, the most southwestern part of England, for a few months now. I decided that Andrew & I should take a little anniversary trip this year, since we’ve never done anything big to celebrate in the past. Plus the traditional gift this year is leather, and I didn’t know where to go with that one. 🙂 So a trip to Cornwall it is!

IMG_1064 As you can see, I found lots and lots (and lots) of things I wanted to do in Cornwall. So I let my Type A personality run wild: I divided everything by color-coded category, gave each item a symbol, and plugged everything on a map of Cornwall, of course. Castles, gardens, great views, and more… I’m still having a hard time narrowing down our options! I’ve tried clustering things together so we could do one “area” per day, but it’s still a lot for the “to do” list.

My top 5 things?

1. Minack Theatre (near our B&B!)
2. Bedruthan Steps (supposed to have great views)
3. St. Nectan’s Glen Waterfall (on the top of the list of romantic locations)
4. Lost Gardens of Heligan
5. St Mawes Castle (great views, and free entry for English Heritage members!)

We leave the day after my birthday, and I’m so excited for a week-long adventure with Andrew exploring one of the prettiest places in England!
